The RAS Autumn Exhibition is arguably the largest and most diverse exhibition in the art calendar for the Royston area. On average the exhibition includes work from 80 – 90 artists and displays over 400 pieces of framed and unframed original art, and features art in a range of media that offers something for everyone.
Come and enjoy framed and unframed original art, prints, greeting cards, portraits, landscapes, abstracts, textile art, mixed media, watercolours, acrylics, oils, pen and ink, pastels, line drawings and more! The Royston Art Society’s amateur, professional, and guest artists always create a veritable feast for viewers and collectors alike. In fact, after 36 years of exhibiting at the Town Hall, the RAS Autumn Exhibition has developed a strong reputation for showing high quality affordable local art.
It is free to visit the exhibition and you will have the opportunity to vote for your favourite artwork, win prizes in the raffle, and enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake (or two!) at the exhibition cafe. All proceeds from the cafe go to a charity chosen by the committee.
Royston Arts Society members can enter up to four framed and six unframed paintings, plus up to 25 cards. There is no hanging fee for Members but 20% commission is charged on all sales.
Non-members are also welcome to enter up to three framed and four unframed paintings plus up to 25 cards. We charge a hanging fee for non-members and we also charge 20% commission on all sales.
