The exhibition was supported by Royston Town Mayor’s Community Trust Fund and Johnson Matthey plc sponsored the prizes for the ‘favourite’ and ‘themed’ paintings.
The theme for Royston Arts Festival 2015 was ‘Illumination’ and the People’s Choice for best painting in the ‘themed’ category was ‘November Morning Light, Fountains Abbey’ by Sheila Reddy, shown below.
The People’s Choice for Favourite Painting, 1st place, went to T John Jarrat for ‘Last Year’s Weeds’.
