RAS Members
Royston Arts Society usually has around 90 – 100 members. They mostly live within a 25 mile radius of Royston and range in age from 8 to 90; most are the other side of 60. They include the full range of talent from relative beginners to professional artists. They might offer tuition or workshops, in addition to selling their art works.
However experienced, or otherwise, the members of this friendly group have one thing in common – they all enjoy their painting.
It is always interesting to see what other artists are painting. Whether you attend the Tuesday painting sessions, the Friday art demonstrations or our exhibitions there will always be food for thought.
Membership Fee
The Membership Fee includes your annual subscription and a one-off joining fee of £2.00. Your membership will run through to 31st March 2024. If you wish to continue as an RAS member after that date, you will need to renew your membership before 31st March 2024 to avoid paying the joining fee again.

All the RAS activities and events are included in the Membership Fee. There is no further price to pay apart from any commission on paintings sold at an exhibition.

If you would like to join as a new member then please click here on the Membership Application form to download it, then follow the instructions on the form to return it and make payment. The fee includes your annual subscription and a joining fee of £2.00. * Your membership will run through to 31st March 2024. * * At the moment, new members can join RAS for half price; £12.00 for adults and £7.00. This membership will run until 31st March 2024 giving new members ample time to sample the art demonstrations and painting sessions; also to exhibit some work in Royston Library.
